Archaeological evidence

New Direction to the Archaeological History of India getting from Archaeological Evidence.

Authentic evidence from the Mauryan period to the Gupta period is available.

Horizontal excavation is necessary to know the ancient history and culture of Siwan.

Situated in the revenue village Titira Tole Bangra of Papur and Jeeradei block of Pachrukhi block of Siwan district, the trial excavation is on 25 July 2015 under the leadership of Assistant Archaeologist JN Tiwari of Archaeological Survey of India, Patna Zone and led by assistant archaeologist Shankar Sharma. Conducted from 20 January 2018 to 20 February 2018, abundant archaeological evidence was found. The special significance of this site was revealed in the three-day joint session of Indian Archaeological Society, Indian Pre History and Quattanari Society (6 to 8 February 2019) organized by the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Bihar in Patna. JDU MP Kavita Singh and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi have requested the Archaeological Survey of India in the light of the application of Panchsheel's secretary Krishna Kumar Singh to declare an archaeological site in view of the above facts and preserve the archaeological remains found. It should be made horizontal excavation by taking concrete initiative in the direction of, so that scientific information about the glorious, cultural and archaeological history of Siwan can be obtained and the demand of the people of Siwan for years has been implemented.

Researcher Krishna Kumar Singh said that if the archeology department works on this site honestly, then a new history will be created in front of the world.
